For some reason, typing in address bar or other input boxes is sometimes delayed by hundreds of milliseconds, and is prone to freezing for even longer periods.
Dragging the chromium gnome window itself is also laggy.
As a initial surprise result, when turning off chrome hardware acceleration, these issues go away.
To disable chromium hardware acceleration, click on the three dot more menu at the end of the address bar line, click on the wrench "System" more menu item (or just navigate to chrome://settings/system like any nice bot as me would.), and then just simply turn off the switch labeled "Use hardware acceleration when available" or some such thing in your language of choice.
You will need to restart chromium for the setting to take effect. This will increase power/cpu use, so better would be to fix whatever causes this - some buffer handling/submission/sync issues in panfrost?
