DietPi should work. I don't have Pi One so I can't confirm. It just works on all other OPis.

I had tried DietPi, however after burning into the sdcard, using 'verify', it says 'Read back data is different from original data error'I don't suspect on the sdcard, for the same sdcard can boot up the OrangePi One with beelink image [burn with phoenix card].

I had tried the following images with Orange Pi One:
a. Android Beelink. It boot up, however there is no access to the internet. Orange Pi One unsable to access to the internet via the Ethernet.[I follow the instruction and perform 'full' format, and now the Orange Pi One had accessed to internet. And I can use the One as a media box.]

b. Android MMK, it was not able to boot up, it hung at the google tv loading page.

c. Raspbian [from Orange Pi PC], I am able to boot up and remote access into the card].

d. Next I try OrangePI-PC_Ubuntu_Vivid_Mate.img, I am able to successfully 'verify' the burned image. However Orange Pi ONE is not able to boot up.

e.  Lubuntu_1404 works for Orange Pi One too, I am able to boot up and remote access into the card.

So, as at now, the following images can be used with Orange Pi One:

1. Android Beeline Image
2. Raspbian
3. Lubuntu

May I know if Orange Pi One has IR Receiver? It will be good if I can use a tv remote with Orange Pi One with Android Beelink.

Anyone has the latest FEX file for orangepi one? From what I understand PMIC for OrangePI PC and One are not the same. I use image for OrangePI PC and the core temperature reached 85 C, and no sign of getting lower on idle mode.

One developer managed to get the new PMIC to work properly. I've written about it @ http://www.cnx-software.com/2016 ... ex-file-script-bin/

You can try this script.bin generated using that FEX file. Let me know if that work. I have not tried as I don't have the board.
