Hi,

In the office we have around 20 orange pis zeros (actually 10 are R1, but they are almost the same). We want to make a small device but we have a lot of unstability. Most of the orange pis halt after 1-2 days, no log, no messages on serial. They just stop answering. We are running Armbian, with the watchdog enabled.

What could cause this?

We have some clues:
1) They were stored in a plastic box, all board together, without the antistatic bags (could this be the problem?)
2) Temperature? the office they run is about 18-22C
3) Power? they are using different USB dongles, 2.4A good quality ones. And we use the same for a raspberry pi that has been running for years
4) Armbian?

People use those boards with years of up-time. Provide required logs (armbianmonitor -u) on armbian forum.

I'd ask on ARMBIAN WWW forum.  https://forum.armbian.com/

Also repost this to the ARMBIAN forum he ...

We are thinking on just rebooting them manually with an external timer, because since the software locks up, sometimes the watchdog and timered reboots wont work.
