I'm not quite sure I understood, do you have just the small screen attached to your Pi? BTW, which Pi is it that you have? I only have an OPi2, so if I might not be able to help you with small screens.
If you're in Linux all you have to do to show the other partition on your SD card is mount it (mount /dev/sdXY mountpoint). If you're in Windows I remember a long time ago there was a program that allowed you to access Linux ext partitions, but I do not remember what it was called. There are probably many options for that nowadays, Google should give you a few.
If you're trying to use just the small screen with your Pi and it outputs nothing then it would probably be easier to first try to connect it to a standard monitor, edit whatever is necessary, and only then migrate to the small screen. At least with the OPi2 images there were issues with screen resolution, you may have to edit configuration files in order to get the output on an LCD small screen. If you have a Pi/Mini 1 take a look at the boot partition, you probably have configuration files in there, and you may be able to locate an option to enable small LCD screen output as well as set its resolution.
