Hello everyone!

I recently purchased an Orange Pi 2. I tried all the OS in the list and I found that Lubuntu runs better than the others.

The only thing is that the screen resolution is fixed to 1280x720 and I cannot change it.
Can someone here describe the process and help me on how to manage and change the resolution to 800x480 ?
I need to connect my Orange to a 5" monitor.

Thank you

Download scripts_bin.zip from here (it is in linux directory), unpack and copy script.bin.OPI-2_480p to SD Card FAT partition (where the uImage is).
Rename it to script.bin
Not tested, but it should work.

If it does not work with Lubuntu image, you can try with one of my images.

Should I do anything else after that?
I tried it but my screen remains blank

Which monitor are you using? Does it work with anything else?

loboris I downloaded your ubuntu image and i added the script.bin as you told me inside the Fat partition.

I see something different in my screen now. I think the refresh rate is bad.
Is it 50 or 60Hz ?

I connected the OrangePi 2 to my computer screen and I see the following....

Video modes supported by OPI-2 (from sys_config.fex):
  1. ;screenx_output_mode  (used for hdmi output, 0:480i 1:576i 2:480p 3:576p 4:720p50)
  2. ;                     (5:720p60 6:1080i50 7:1080i60 8:1080p24 9:1080p50 10:1080p60)
480i is now included in scripts_bin.zip. That is all I can do.

I've checked on my monitor, and it looks like the 480 modes are actually 720x480, so it probably wont work on your monitor.
