How to install apps in Android

Hi i just received my orange pi lite and playing with it .

Currently installed android and after 2 hours of battle i finally have it done .

Now i have downloaded kodi apk file from kodi official site in my usb and plugged usb to orange pi and when i run kodi apk file it gives parse error .

Is there i am missing something ?

Also how can i use netflix in it ?

Hi,
I would get rid of android in your place. I found it extreme buggy and there is little to no support of Xunlong/Steven to that. It is still a 4.4 and currently google works on 7.1.1...

IMHO armbian is the only stable OS atm. You could try that or all OSes based on that.
eg. openELEC (Kodi) works just fine on my OPI PC.
I use RetrOrangePI as I have here the easiest way of changing in between the armbian desktop and openELEC.

Thanks for the suggestion , i followed that and installed Armbian and Kodi on it and everything is working well .

Sound works with HDMI cable or we need any extra cable for audio output ?

Currently Kodi is playing videos but there is no audio output ?

Any guide on how to setup audio with hdmi cable .

Here how to choose the audio 'driver' in Kodi:
- go to system/stttings/system/audio output
- the first line shows the active audio output (I have ALSA: Default (audiocodec Analog), ALSA: audiocodec, Analog or ALSA:snddmi, HDMI)
- choose "ALSA:snddmi, HDMI"
that solved it for me
