I'd like to buy a case for my Orange Pi Plus. I see this one on AliExpress http://www.aliexpress.com/store/ ... 71_32248619203.html but doubt it will fit as the Plus has different dimensions and port layout from other models.
@steven do you have a case made specifically for the Orange Pi Plus?

LOL, Step 3 is undo step 2

I bought this set along with my Orange Pi.
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/ ... 71_32250765953.html
It didn't come with instructions. It looks like it could be made 'clear', but I didn't figure out how. (I have the Pi setup so that it's on stilts on top of box, looks like it would work normally too, but I like it the way I have it setup for now, except I'd like to know how to make the box clear)
The 'heat sink' looks more like a tiny refrigerator magnet than a heat sink. No instructions for how to use that either. (is it really a heat sink?)[Update: tried looking this, and couldn't find any instructions for this, or something that looks simular]
I've read elsewhere that it's possible to ruin an external HDD by using the Orange Pi SATA wrong. (It might have said something about polarity?) [Update: Got a chance to play around the Pi more, and the SATA cables works.]

I've only had it for a few hours, and still haven't gotten into the OS... more to play with. [Update: gotten a chance to play with it an set it up.]

Hi,
I've also bought the case.  It is clear perspex, you just have to peel the protective paper off.  I'm not sure about the heat sink so I've ordered some 14x14x10 heat sinks from RS.

Cheers,
Steven

Plus will fit in the box after you figure out how to get the tape off. The holes on the power plug end fit, but the usb end is about 10-11 mm off.

Although the ad says it does, the case does not fit the Pi Plus. The mounting holes on one end fit but the other end is 8-10 mm off.

The case comes covered with paper tape. If you are going to drill holes or modify the case, to fit the plus, do it before you remove the tape.

The plexiglass is brittle and the tape will keep it from cracking.

I just wonder--does case have enough holes in order to have good ventilation in it?  Also maybe if case makes  airflow not so good as without case--then maybe add some little fan to it and make in such way air flow more freely?

I know from my own experience that A20 and H3 need some Metal Coolers--because the temperature can come up to 50 Celcius -- and to use for long sessions CHIP with 50 degrees is not good idea without proper cooling system.
