I run "android Beelink_X2-SC_V1.1-Custom_ROM" without mods on an OPI-PC.
I want to control Kodi with my Samsung Note3 Infra Red.
I note that Kodi (and Android) responds randomly to my pressing IR controls from my Samsung.
I assume that means that this Beelink Android responds to an IR controller.
Any ideas how to get this to work?
Thanks for any hints.

Hi All!
I made some tests with this, using BeeZidoo for OPI-PC ROM with my Orange Pi PC
I activated debug mode for IR module like we can see here How to enable IR in BPI-M3 (Linux OS)
That works for Linux kernel in Android too.

--> I tested Sony, Samsung and LG, TV IR remote controls,

1- Some keys from LG remote control are detected in evtest /dev/input/event3
2- All others keys from LG remote controls are detected in dmesg (debug mode)

Now, my question, there is any file where we can setup that key codes? Because Lirc not detects all keys too, but it shows in dmesg.

the chmod commands don't work on my device. I always get an error message 'bad mode". Tried it with "chmod 777 /system/bin/... instead, but got also an error message "read only file system".
What can I do?

EDIT: fixed it by myself, needet do remount the system and it worked

In Orange pi Lite 2,
we followed the above steps for android IR integration
But we stuck from below step

  * Event code 255 (?)
  * Event type 20 (Repeat)
  * Testing ... (interrupt to exit)

we pressed the IR remote,but it is not proceed after this step.
