I wanted to ask because it's not clear i can flash the linux image the same way that the android image is flashed?

it's not clear what the jumpers mean. There is no jumper description in the manual.

Hello, i did the same steps for Orange pi 4G iot and it works with an xp os, but when i try it with the Orange pi 3G IOT it gives me error (Error: S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL. Download to flash fail!....). Do I miss something? I installed the Mediatek, downloaded the images from orange pi website and did the steps you mentioned more times than i could count.. with the linux and the android image.. Do i need a different mediatek driver or flash tool?

I dont set baud rate at driver properties. I set it at Putty

Sorry, I think your procedure is correct. Have you tried another flashtool version?
