I was wondering what would the picture look like if I connect the Orange Pi PC with Android to the TV through 3.5mm audio/video output and the picture is good but outputted aspect ratio is 4:3. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio of composite signal to 16:9?

BTW, I couldn't anywhere find A/V connector pinout so I had to experiment to find out where is the GND. It would be very useful if the A/V cable pinout were displayed along with the other Orange Pi specifications. The pinout seems to be:

  1. 1 - GND
  2. 2 - VIDEO
  3. 3 - RIGHT
  4. 4 - LEFT
Copy code

The contact numbers are if #1 is next to the plastic housing of the connector.

ps
When using composite output I had to adjust the Screen percent setting to 30% so the picture was not bigger than screen (when using HDMI the setting has to be 100% to fill the screen). And of course - since the output was 4:3 I had to stretch it to 16:9 using the TV's aspect ratio settings.
