The only one I could get to install.  The others give me a 'script not found' error in pheonixcard.  It's the one linked to in the downloads page. http://www.orangepi.org/download ... 1c8bcf2b9e7b63.html

Holy crap,
how it is possible ? that ethernet works with other card,
especially that the problem was "Initialize hardware error".
Why type/size of card has matters ?

I believe, but It is so fu...ing crazy.

Hello everyone, let me tell you my experience.

I bought an Orange PC for Android development, and a Sony 16 GB micro SD card (SR-16UY).

I installed Android there and everything was fine. I reverted it back to normal and installed Lubuntu, just to try it. Again, everything worked fine. But when I installed Android again, I was stuck with the Ethernet problem! In the SAME SD card once worked!

After two days of trying things, the only one that worked for me was to revert the card to normal, then format it with Windows unchecking the "fast format" option (it took a while!), then putting Android with PhoenixCard again. Now it works without any problem.

Could it be pre-existing data on uninitialized sectors? In any case, I've made an image now that it's working again.

Regards.

Maybe this is my problem because most of my cards once had a linux distribution on them.  I'll give it a try and report back.

Confirmed.
Earlier, I try same card with zidoo-x1 android image - ethernet wasn't working.
Today, I tried your method, and ethernet (on same card and the same image) now working.
I don't believe but it works.

So, my conclusion is - not size/type of sd card matters but how SD card is prepared.
