Orange PI Zero kernel crashes

Hello,

I have a seagate HDD attached to an orange pi zero based NAS where I rsyncing data to.
After about half an hour I start getting messages in the kernel logs:

It gets cuter with time:

Then after a a time the machine dies, and regardless that I have         `-watchdog(2056) running it does not get rebooted.

Welcome to ARMBIAN 5.38 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.18-sunxi


Armbian with 4.14 kernel.

Anyone else experienced this?

I have tried a newer kernel 4.17 but with that my orangepi did not boot also this is the original Orange PI Zero not the new + and later platforms.
