I couldn't agree (with you) more.  It seems only one person works for Xunlong .

You are right. I have already 3 OPI Plus. They are absolutely useless without software support, with binary blobs inside uboot, kernel and SDK. And so on...

hi. i'm new here.

i see there is a conversation about the new boards?

is it possible to make a board like OPi2 but without IR, lan, wi-fi, camera port? external esp8266 and bluetooth modules are cheap.

that there are necessary: USB (all 4), hdmi (lvds if it possible, too), sound, SD-card (eMMC chip or its place for 2 options, with or without, isn't bad too), the standard RPi connector and all other H3's pins too. looking at the scheme of OPi2, i saw a lot of pins are not connected

Also it would be good to make the power plug as a 2-pin connector (standard dip as an example) and place all USB, hdmi, sound and maybe SD-card connectors along one side. I think it will be more convenient for embedded applications (home/office/etc automation, smart monitors, remote machines, etc.)

Any news on the OPi PC? Should be a good option to play with clusters.
OPi 2. OPi-PC, OPi+2E, OPi-PC2
