OrangePi 2G-IoT Audio Issue

I tried installing Ubuntu, Raspbian & Debian server from orangepi.org on my OrangePI 2G IoT device. None of the servers were able to play/record audio using alsa-utils. How can I play audio? Also if I need to dial a voice call from GSM modem, how will I hear the voice?

Hi friend, I am so sorry there was no support for you for such a period. So you mean you could not hear any sound when playing, recording and dialing? Did you try to boot from Nand instead for SD card? So you mean

I didn't try NAND with Linux yet but still working with Ubuntu Server which is the best 2G IoT distro for now.

you can produce sounds with this https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/OrangePi_Settings and install alsa-utils (audio driver)but after system reboot it will produce kernel panics (hang)..
i have tried with nand system and its same

I have read that some guys have tried to install ALSA which finished with kernel panic as in your case.

I just tried to run the actual Ubuntu 16.04 release and had to uninstall the alsa-utils as they caused a kernel panic.

You have to uninstall them after the system has booted the first time or your system is blocked !
