Hi,

I bought an OrangePi Lite and I would like to install android to run Kodi and one TV app (called NOSTv). The bord will be stored in a box inside the wall (so the heat could be a problem) and the connectivity will be by wirelless.

I already tried some images I found here but the image has some flirks.

Could someone advice me for one good android images to install?

One other thing, is possible to have HDMI CEC on android?

Thanks

I think that you should use H3Droid.
As you mentioned, you want to use your Orange Pi Lite in a box, so the produced heat is a very important question in this case.
So, you need an android image which uses proper fex and uboot configuration to adjust your voltage dynamically and keep your board cool (of course it is strongly recommended to have active cooling if you want to use your board in a closed box).
If I know well, H3Droid already has proper configuartion for Orange Pi Lite and many other boards, and WiFi also works automatically, and it also has the latest legacy kernel (3.4.113) with many security issues fixed (other Android images have 3.4.39, kinda outdated). Of course, it's still based on Android 4.4.2, but Lollipop would lag like hell with 512MB RAM, so I think that's not a problem.

Also, instead of using the stock Kodi app you should use SPMC, it seems to work better with Allwinner boards.
Or if you want, I can also leave you a link for a special modified version of Kodi (by zidoo-team and Superceleron) which comes with full internal H/W acceleration support for Allwinner H3 (it's only version 14.2, but works really well, also supports H.265 format as I know).

Sadly, I don't know anything about HDMI CEC support. It may work or may not. I think there is no Android image for Orange Pi with working CEC support, so I think H3Droid also doesn't support this feature. If you want that, use OpenELEC, which is a dedicated Linux system for running Kodi (and only Kodi).

You can download H3Droid at https://www.h3droid.com/, you will need a Linux Live CD or virtual machine to burn the image to an SD card. Don't forget to select the proper fex and uboot file for your board during installation.
