Please don't post such misleading stuff. The OP asked about Armbian, there the driver is included  ...

the wifi on orangepi + armbian is a big misterious thing.
I have installed armbian 5_20 and there are not the hostapd.conf and many things changed .
With armbian 5_10 I have installed a patch from Igor and configured some files, but now I'm in a black hole
Thank you

Please don't post such misleading stuff. The OP asked about Armbian, there the driver is included and all that's needed is 'sudo nmtui' to get Wi-Fi working! No need to load drivers.

https://github.com/pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes

sudo apt-get install dkms

No, no, no. It's about 8189fs and there's really no need to build drivers. It's all about simply following the documentation: https://docs.armbian.com/User-Gu ... twork-configuration
