Hey everyone. My name is Alisha (McGlaverAlisha on the forum). I am finally getting started with Orange Pi after using Raspberry Pi for a while. My partner and I love building our own little systems for entertainment and retro gaming when we travel on weekends or during our holidays.

Right now, we are putting together a small diy portable handheld console and a backup media box to take everywhere with us. Since Orange Pi hardware offers great alternatives but sometimes requires a bit of tweaking on the OS side, we want to chat with people who already do this on a daily basis.

I am not a code expert, but I really like understanding things, testing stuff with my own hands, and finding simple tricks that work. We often have little questions about board optimization and display management on the go, so I am here to ask for advice and also share our successes when our builds run smoothly.
