Hey folks, I’m moving soon and totally overwhelmed by just my wardrobe. Do you hang, fold, roll… or is there some magical method I’ve never heard of? I don’t want to spend hours ironing everything when I unpack. Would love any solid guide or hacks that actually work!

I just moved a couple of months ago, and I felt the exact same way — it’s wild how clothes multiply when it’s time to box them up! I experimented a bit, and what worked best was a combo: I rolled soft shirts and pants into duffle bags to save space, folded heavier stuff flat into boxes, and used a few wardrobe boxes for dressy clothes I didn’t want to get crushed. Also, pro tip: don’t overpack your boxes or the bottom layers will come out looking like they lived in a suitcase for a year. If you’re not sure where to start, I highly recommend this guide https://nationalmovers.org/resou ... clothes-for-moving/ on how to pack clothes for moving. It breaks down everything from packing supplies to how to handle shoes, hangers, and even packing clothes straight from the closet. Made my life so much easier — especially when I realized I was doing a few things totally wrong.

This is exactly what I needed — thank you! I've been trying to decide between rolling and folding but it never occurred to me to mix both. And labeling by clothing type? Genius. I just checked out the guide you recommended and it looks really solid. I’ve been looking for something like that instead of random YouTube videos. Definitely going to give it a try. You saved me a ton of stress!
