I tried many Android firmwares on this forum with my Orange Pi One, but all of them were useless, of course an official is same.
They worked very slow, same as my Chinsese Android pad which is bought at four years ago!!!

Many error, like "set cpu frequency to 1008MHz: failed, cpu(2) try to kill cpu(3)" happened in dmesg.
This error means "script.bin" is not for OPOne, but for OP PC, I expect.
So I tried to replace it by Dragon Face, but OPOne doesn't boot up if I use repacked firmware...

Does anyone know good Android firmware for OP One?
If you know how to replace script.bin and repack firmware image, please share to me.
  Regards,

Try this one below.

Need some modification to make CPU cool, but it runs fast on OPI-ONE.

Two USB port, Ethernet, Video and Audio works perfectly. And I found Phoenix suite tool to pack and unpack image on above site. I will try to install driver for my WiFi dongle. Thank you very much!

RTL8188EUS usb wifi works excellent. Have some issues with distorted netflix. Calendar doesn't work. Super SU doesn't work for me, it asks me to update a binary then always fails. I like the firmware so much though and everything else seems to work. Anyone have any ideas? Zidoo is like watching paint dry and it crashes constantly. Opi Android firmware is bare of any navigation. I love this install but I wondering if my issue is unique or if other people have problems. My logitch k400 keyboard disables every once in a while and I have to flip its switch on my hub. Kodi works amazing, this thing beats the crap out of my pi 2 for streaming. Seems like not a lot of other firmware works.

I have repack this image with corresponding system_config.fex for Orange Pi One. Really fast and clean android 4.4.2 https://drive.google.com/file/d/ ... XM/view?usp=sharing
If you need root you can do it via UART as described here http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... wthread&tid=314

Care to make one for OPI-PC with this fex setting below? You can also port gc2035 driver from Offical firmware.

@temper5 After flashing your modified firmware, the sunxi-ir-8i and 8188eu.ko cannot be loaded. Please check.

No, there is no any good Android firmware. All is on old, ugly KitKat (no chance for newer Android version). None of them is usable. Buggy and slow.
