woohoo my account was approved, this is really awesome Zaddiq! I saw your youtube comment, but thought this might be a better place to reply.
I got your image working no problem on my 1080p display
But I have this display and touch screen I would like to use with it: https://docs.google.com/document ... w8/edit?usp=sharing
and it works fine if i use armbian and h3disp, but there are some changes that need to be made for android https://forum.armbian.com/index. ... ings-on-h3-devices/ says:
"In case you're an Android user you'll have to go the extra mile since the Android OS image for H3 Orange Pi's doesn't support script.bin. You could apply the changes h3disp offers to one of our provided fex files but have then to overwrite a few sectors on your SD card to get this stuff working (by choosing our fex files you could also 'patch' the Android image to run better on the Orange Pi One or get all USB ports and Ethernet on the other models and improve realiability and decrease SoC temperature)"
also, i think i need a driver for the touch screen (xpt2046), i see there is one for arduino (https://github.com/spapadim/XPT2046) and one for rasberry pi (https://github.com/saper-2/rpi-5inch-hdmi-touchscreen-driver) i can pry port one, but i've never written an android driver before, if you have any tips?
happy to implement this stuff, not really sure how to get started though. any points would be great. you said you downloaded the image and modified it, any good guides tools to get started on this?
feel free to email me if that is easier: nathan at vertile.com |
