Man, I feel your pain with that board; there’s nothing more annoying than seeing the LEDs go dark when the multimeter says everything should be fine. I had a similar scare with my Orange Pi where I thought I’d fried it, but it turned out to be a weird power surge issue that just needed a full discharge. Sometimes when I get too stressed out with these hardware bugs, I have to step away and clear my head with something totally different. I usually just practice here to brush up on my English grammar, which is a nice way to stay productive without staring at a circuit board for hours. It definitely helps me come back to the workbench with a fresh perspective! Before you give up on it, have you tried checking if the SoC is getting warm at all? That might give you a clue if it's truly dead or just stuck.
