Fourth step : So after the manual editing the patches into the newer librelelec , just play a little more and you gonna scratch your head why he included a original in the sw patch after you pass that your kodi should build so librelec builds hapily futher and makes a images .

So now a little happier that it works

Next step : take the kodi-005-H3-support.patch and begin scratch a little more (psst libstagefright is foetsie )

ow didn't try that and didn't change the addons directory ,only kernel uboot , sunxi stuff and kodi sw is on the libre 8  cec also don't work

but that are little problems

and add the zips manual mayby that works.

the kodi-005-H3-support.patch conversion is not a fast process (zero coder ) .but step for step i'm getting there

and almost at the point i need some advice from jernej but first i try what i could find and do before i ask the questions . thats how it works

or more people need to get interested to discuss how to adjust the patch would speed things up but that looks like a dream  .

Just like your question SUPERMAX it is nice that you tried the image and that you find something that doesn't work .BUT what did you try to make it work ?  or where in the process did it go wrong ?

And if you read the first 10 words of this post you could find the solution yourself .

uhh openelec is linux

but again the question what did you did to try to make it work ?

or why doesn't it work ?

has it to do with kernel module or how lirc is compiled or wich lircd.conf or gives kodi trouble with keymap.xml ?

and if you didn't try the options above why even ask

i want a cookie would you put it in my mouth i'm to lazy to do it myself

linux=Armbian in this problem ;)
Problem is that X10 is not IR remote but radio. Configuration is easy in linux and works well. In linux in /etc/lirc/hardware.conf I have:

REMOTE="ATI/NVidia/X10 RF Remote (userspace)"
REMOTE_DRIVER="atilibusb"

/etc/lircd.conf is standard - for Medion X10 MD8800

In Kodi remote works well as devinput without tuch any config - no problem with remote but Kodi 15 in Armbian has no HW.

So now: how to do this in Openelec - main problem how to change driver for lirc.

For me X10 is another solution to have OPI behind TV - because of CEC problem in OPI PC+
But best solution for me is have kodi-standalone (Kodi 16 or 17) working in Armbian - without desktop - maybe it is now possible...

EDIT
My foult. Can not be autoexec.sh which kills lircd and run new service with lircd.conf.
Without autoexec.sh and lircd.conf X10 works out of the box. Only modification lircmap.xml is needed - especially back button
