Hi Steven,

I saw that there is a 7" display with LCD module available at Aliexpress (http://www.aliexpress.com/store/ ... 71_32315435767.html).
This looks really interesting, I would like to use it in a internet radio/media player device based on the Orange Pi. Can you give me some more information: does the display get its power via the Orange Pi PSU? And will the 3A PSU from the shop be sufficient for both devices? For which distributions are drivers available?

Would be great if you could answer those points. Thanks in advance.

Great, thanks! I will give it a try tonight. Long weekend to come, so enough time for playing around ...

If you get stuck and want to try with my kernel I've uploaded it and the modules to http://phelum.net/temp/OP

The script fex and bin files are also there.

Cheers,
Steven

Steven, I just ordered the display, assuming the power supply will work for both, Pi and display. Still it would be nice if you could add all relevant information in the shop, or maybe present the available Pi models and accessories here in detail.

Steven, I received the display in the meantime, thanks for the quick delivery. Unfortunately, so far no luck in getting it to run, neither under Android nor under Lubuntu - no reaction on the display at all. Can you provide some more information what is needed to get it running?

Steven, do you have an estimate when you are going to upload the Android image?

Any hints on how to enable the screen in other distributions, especially Lubuntu would be really great as well!

Thanks in advance!
