Hi all,

i am very confused about adapter to Orange Pi PC i didnt found right barrel size of plug connector. Maybe someone has knowledge or link to manufacturer specification, if so please let me know. I found spec only for OPi Plus which has size 1.7mm(inner diameter)/4mm(outer diameter).

And another question is will something like this work? http://www.ges.cz/cz/napajeci-adapter-ac-dc-sitovy-napajec-stabilizovany-zdroj-napeti-mw-5v-2a-p1-7x4-GES07507094.html

Orange-Pi-PC and 4-0MM-1-7MM

So the barrel size is right.

5V/2A seems right too

I would always refer to the linux-sunxi wiki to get informations about a device using an Allwinner SoC: http://linux-sunxi.org/Orange_Pi_PC

You can also power the OPi PC through the GPIO pins as outlined there.

Hi guys,
the topic is little old, but I don't want to open new one, so I'll ask here.
I have OPI PC with power adapter : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ ... 392-04366-zj6qB6AIM
it was set both with case

Recently I purchase OPI Plus 2 this time without power supply so  what should be best for this one 5v2A or 5v3A adapter?
What power supply are you using?

There are many power supplies that don't live up to their specs. The OPI get more unreliable when the power supply is supplying just enough.  I would go with the higher amperage one just to be safe.  As long as it is 5V an extra couple amps won't hurt the board.  The only drawback with higher amperage power supplies is that they can use a little more power and burn it off in heat but for the most part that is worth the extra reserve capacity.
