3G-IoT: A MIPI Camera that works?

We are trying to find an external camera to work with the 3G-IoT's 22-pin MIPI connection.
Thanks for any advice or experience that you might have!
We have tried several models sourced from AliExpress and elsewhere, but we are not able to access the camera input while running Android on the 3G-IoT-B model.
We have not tested any of these cameras on the board with Linux, so we can't say if they would work there or not.
Has anyone managed to successfully connect a functioning camera unit to this board?
