Hello!

I am creating a product where the Orange Pi PC is mounted inside of an enclosure, so the user will not have access to the power input located directly on the board. To get around this I want to use some kind of panel mount adapter, so the user can plug into that, and inside the enclosure I would have a wire that connects it to power. I want the user to be able to plug in the device and have the power go on immediately. This is the kind of form factor I'm referring to (but this is just an example, it doesn't need to be UCB-C): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001035491187.html

Has anyone done this kind of thing before? How did you solve the problem? I tried with the exact able I linked to above, using another USB-C to 1.7mm adapter, but I'm not getting power to the device. I am using a random 5V 3A USB-C wall adapter I had sitting around the house, so I suspect that it might not be giving the device the constant level of power that it needs.

I'm open to any ideas that people have to solve my problem. Thanks!
