Got the device (orange pi one) a couple weeks ago and have had to wait a while getting all these extra parts.
I got my new sandisk 16gb sdcard today and tried flashing h3droid onto it with etcher. Completed fine.
I plugged it into a usb port with the cable provided (not using a mains one but I should at least get some output right?)
I needed a converter for my monitor 24 + 5 dvi because it didn't have hdmi connector.
So I plug it into the pi.
I press the on button. The red light comes on for a while then flashes, then a green and red then just green then off. Don't know the combination exactly.
But I turn the monitor on and off and nothing.
Is the screen not compatible or something else? hard to tell wtf is going on...please advise.
I will try with an arch image later to see if that changes. The flashing lights were promising though so I am thinking maybe it isn't a faulty board in that case?
I know that it isn't advised to use the usb cable but that wouldnt stop it from showing any kind of screen output would it since the screen has its own power? I thought it was just power issues so maybe it would be unstable but would work to a certain extent. Ie why would they ship it with that cable if it didnt work at least somewhat?
