But I get stuck with this error message. I cannot start emulationstation. I just can start the GUI with typing startx in SSH. But Kodi and most of the other applications also don't work.

Unfortunately there's nothing else i can do to help, as image is working fine. Try to change SD card, power adapter or burning process (linux recommended).

Is there anybody who got Retrorange working on Orange Pi Plus 2? The last Version that worked for me was Retrorange based on Pubuntu.

Seems like support for the Orange Pi Plus 2 was dropped. I have the punbuntu image but it looks like it was taken down as well. Never saw an updated image for it. Tried the 2E image and though it boots EM fails to display. Might look into swapping scripts.bin and/or the fex files. Honestly I'll wait a month for a 2E to get delivered and just keep using my One until then.
Also, anyway to add Reicast? I can't get it to compile on the orange pi one, was hoping someone else has/had tried.

Just an update: on Armbian-based RetrOrangePi, running applications that relies on Mali driver seems to be broken on both Orange Pi Plus 2 and Orange Pi PC Plus

flickering or black screen. Previous Ubuntu version seems to work, so it will be reuploaded soon.
