I’ve been thinking about switching from a backpack to a chest bag for my daily walks and short hikes. Anyone here using one regularly? Is it comfortable enough for a few hours out?

I recently made the switch from a backpack to a chest bag for my daily walks and short hikes, and it’s been a great choice. It’s surprisingly comfortable for a few hours out, especially if you don’t overload it. The weight feels balanced and having quick access to essentials like my phone, keys, and snacks is super convenient. Plus, it doesn’t get as sweaty as a full backpack. I’d recommend trying a lightweight, adjustable chest bag first—you’ll appreciate the freedom and practicality it offers.

Totally agree! Chest bags are way more practical for short trips, and no sweaty back is a bonus!
