So I’ve been thinking about switching careers for a while now. I’ve worked in logistics for over 10 years, and while it’s been steady, I’m starting to feel stuck. What’s been grabbing my attention lately is artificial intelligence. I keep hearing how it's transforming everything—from how we shop to how businesses make decisions. The thing is, I’ve got zero background in tech. I’m not trying to become some coder overnight, but I’d love to understand AI well enough to maybe pivot into a role that involves it. Anyone here made a similar shift? Where’s a good place to begin without getting overwhelmed?

I can relate to that a lot. I came from customer service and had the same doubts about switching into anything AI-related. What helped me was not jumping into hardcore coding but starting with foundational stuff explaining how AI is used in real life. One course that really helped build my confidence was from https://www.advisedskills.com/artificial-intelligence/artificial-intelligence-practitioner. It breaks down the practical side of AI—like how businesses use it for forecasting, automation, and smarter decisions—without needing a tech degree. That kind of structure helped me stop reading about AI and start understanding how to use it myself.

Interesting topic. I’m seeing more and more people talk about AI and switching careers into it. Even at my workplace, there’s been a shift in how projects are being handled with some kind of automation or smart tools involved. I'm not diving into AI myself, but it's clear that it's touching almost every field now. Will keep an eye on this discussion just to learn more.
