I'm trying with Armbian on orange pi plus 2.
During the installation prompt ask me the resolution of my video , but was difficult to see because the words are cutted in left side of the screen
Otherwise I have setted 1920x1080 , put 1234 as password a new UNIX password
It starts and launche the desktop ....but I have the desktop icons half cutted on the the left side of the screen , again .
By clicking right pb of the mouse I select the display settings but not possible to change .
When I open the xTerminal I see the size of the words are too small , difficult to see , I don't know where to set them ....
Other issue , I have to prompt everytime this
  • setxkbmap it

[color=rgb(51, 102, 153) !important]Copy the Code

to have the italian keyboards , how to set it for ever ?
I'm also trying to check something for the network ....wicd and radar
I'm able to connect wired lan and connect to internet .
I'm also able to connect to my Access Point Router .
But I want to create a new net as Access Point , I want my  fuckin' orange pi plus 2 to be Access Point  ....this is not possible ....
Somebody know what to do ?

Hello xwalter,
I have the same cutted screen on a TV with all Linux-Distros. Android is centered. On a monitor with HDMI the screen is OK. But my TV has also a VGA-Input. So I buy a HDMI to VGA-Adapter. Now, Linux ist now centered on TV.

Have you try to set your keyboard with the input-settings in the menue? I set the Keyboard-input to german and delete the english default. So I get the german layout.

With the access-point i have no idea.

For the keyboard and lot of other things look here:

It seems that as far as armbian and orange pi are concerned the armbian forum is to be prefered to this one.
