Can use SD card from oPi0 on oPi0-v3 ?

Hello, I have programmed many cards for Orange Pi Zero (and LTS), and since they are not sold anymore (or at 8* the price), can I reuse those cards "as is" or with very little modifications in newer OrangePi Zero version 3 which are much cheaper ?

My issue is that I have writen an image generator, and I fear I may loose days or weeks if I had to customise my generator for the new Pi if it's very different. so it all depends how different they are. My cards work on H2 and compatible processors.

I have inserted a card in an oPi0-3 and after 5mn, it had not catched network. If the fix is a small trick like changing on boot variable, I can handle that; but if I have to start over from a completely different image, it may not worth it for me.
