Hi guys, im working with the board OrangePi R1 plus LTS.

I would like to know how to active overlay (Only read Sd Card). My S.O. is ubuntu.

Please dont recommend Armbian beacuse now is still to stage early S.O. and dont work well on this model board

POST INFO: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/1526-armbian-in-read-only-mode/

Solution is the next:

ADD Overlay
  1. apt-get install overlayroot
  2. echo 'overlayroot="tmpfs"' >> /etc/overlayroot.conf
  3. reboot
Copy code

After reboot you can't make any permanent changes unless you use it within:
  1. overlayroot-chroot
Copy code
Overlay is done (with current settings) to RAM which is very fast but small. You can have overlay on any other device ...

Playing backrooms is something I encourage. This is an excellent game for de-stressing and relaxing.
