I bought 2 OrangePi PC boards when they first came out but am still unable to get either to boot. I have tried multiple times using different sd cards, plugging in keyboard / mouse / network and having them unplugged. I have tried the official distributions and loboris distribution. I have never been able to get a board to display anything to the monitor. I know that there are many different boards and so maybe I am missing some obvious step, I have tried following a number of different instructions at various places on the forum. I have a raspberry pi and an odroid arm board which I am successfully able to burn sd cards for and get to boot. I am writing out every exact step that I have taken here so that hopefully someone can point out something I am doing wrong, or confirm that the problem is with the hardware.

1) Using SDFormatter v4.0 on windows I wipe and format the sd card (I dont do this every time but this is for completeness).
2) Download OrangePI_Jessie_Xfce.img.xz from loboris (I have experimented with several different files)
https://drive.google.com/folderv ... WnVwSEU&usp=sharing
3) Burn to 16gb sd card using http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
4) I then rename the uImage and script.bin (I have experimented with different variations)
copy uImage_OPI-2 uImage
copy script.bin.OPI-PC_720p60 script.bin
5) Plug in power / keyboard / network / mouse / hdmi / sd card
6) I have connected a uart serial -> usb and get the following in the terminal:-
HELLO! BOOT0 is starting!
boot0 version : 4.0.0

The size of uboot is 000dc000.

7) Nothing appears on the screen (it is a lg smart tv that works for raspberry pi & odroid).
I have also tried burning from ubuntu but that did not give any different results. Can anyone spot what I am missing or is there a way to check that the hardware is functioning?

I have found a uart debug from another user in the forum, I have copied the relevant part of their debug:-

sdcard 0 line count 4

After saying "The size of uboot is 000dc000.", which my board stops at it then prints two sums and then "Succeed in loading uboot from sdmmc flash", so that tells me that the problem is with loading from the sd card, it is not giving any errors but it is also not getting to the part that says that it succeeded in loading uboot.

Sorry to spam the board with too many messages. However by swapping the mouse for a different one I managed to get the boot process to go further!

The new line with just "s" printed is the last output from the board. I am testing with the "OrangePI-PC_Ubuntu_Vivid_Mate.img" from loboris since it states "prepared for OrangePI users, just copy to SDCard, no configuration needed!". So it is even less likely to be something wrong with the sdcard setup now.

So it now looks like it is failing with an axp_probe error.

I do accept as true with all of the ideas you have offered for your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are very short for newbies. May you please lengthen them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.        đăng ký 69vn
