I like to use a Orange Pi Zero 512MB as a SIP client.
I only need the SIP client to detect an incomming call.
No nee to answer or actually make a call.
I am a beginner.
I do not know what operating system to choose.
I need an operating system that has good support for the built in WiFi module.
When I look at the Armbian website - Armbian Focal - Armbian Buster https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero/
it tells : ''Onboard wireless module (XR819) has poor software support so wireless connection issues are expected''
The orange Pi will be online 24/7 and connect to the local network using WiFi.
On an incomming call it will trigger an GPIO port to start a strobe light indicating that there is an incomming call.
thats all.
