P3 - Expande file system

In have installed ubuntu as the best OS for P3.

How to i can expande the file system?

i have a sd card of 16 Gb, but the ubuntu image is setted to 4 Gb.

i have tried some procedure but all doesn't work fine, the error message is "the sectors is not available"

Suggestion?
