Armbian not Booting Orange Pi 2G-IOT

Hi everyone,
I have an OPi 2g-IOT and the only images I can get booting are the ubuntu/raspian ones. Ive tried different Armbian versions, but the
pi never gets to the point where it boots and led comes on. Any ideas as to why I can boot Ubuntu, but not Armbian ?

Any input will be much appreciated.

If you could boot with Ubuntu but cannot boot with Armbian, did you check you whether you download correponding image for 2G-IOT?

Yes I double checked. Armbian_5.27_Orangepi2g-iot_Debian_jessie_default_3.10.62.img . I also tried other versions of Armbian, none of the Armbian images
are booting.
