Ubuntu-Server BETA for orangepi one plus does not work. I works untill next reboot...... us usuall no software support from OrangePI.
Just wait for armbian.

Could you describe your issue in a bit more details please, then maybe we would be able to help.

I now run 2x OrangePI One Plus H6 boards on the Ubuntu-Server BETA, and while they are far from ideal, they seem to be working fine.
I'm running LAMP on one of these, and SyncThing / NextCloud on the other.

Rebooted 20+ times during playing and trying to break, no issue.

Would I use this for production ... eeeh, heck no.

Ordered 6 more for additional Proof of Concepts, and about to be building own image + custom kernel next week.

Igor mentioned in the Armbian forum that Armbian for H6 (comparing on how it was with H5 support) could be months away and very likely not in 2018.

So that may be a long wait.

iam interesting in your own image....

I hope pine64 will launch at the end of march pineH64.. and during month or 3 month community image for H6 will be avalaible. i hope maybe it will be work on orange pi one plus....

when boot computer stops on.; support cea vic mode 16
error not valid cea vic mode
and then suddenly running all the time without no end
runnable tasks, PIB, tree-key, switches, prio, exec-runtime, sum exec,
cpu#3
many info.....

i have no idea what is not recognized
HDMI monitor ???? i used 3 monitors and problem still exist ......

some times ubuntu-server beta run correctly
i have tried to install giu xfce4 or mater destop but i can login into system via lightdm dispaly manager
user orangepi not valid user....

sudo mkdir /home/bak
sudo mv $HOME /home/bak
sudo mv /home/.ecryptfs /home/bak
sudo cp -R /etc/skel $HOME
sudo chown -R $USER

USER $HOME

and i can login via slim display manager

Hey there,

did you make any progress on creating your own image and own kernel and would you mind to share it with the communiy?

As for me the provided Ubuntu server image working kind of except my load issue described further here: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &extra=page%3D1
