Hello to all,
I believe I have used the correct Android image on my OPi PC. THe image I downloaded and instalaled is   sun8iw7p1_android_orangepi_pc_uart0_v0.8.0
Parts of it are not going well for me.
In the plus, I may not have been able to delete or "Uninstall" Kodi Isengard befoer I brought a new version  by USB Flash Drive. I decided on  Kodi 16.1 >> Jarvis   and installed it successfully.

But I mentioned that I did not uninstall Kodi before hand because I couldn't !!!
It isn't behaving properly. I have seen others accessing the Applications  in the Android environment so familiar from using my cell phone. It is not working at all .
Clicking on "Setings" is producing nothing but a momentary flicker from the processor. There is no response from clicking on it with the mouse. Can this be a hardware   HID originating issue? I am using a combo   mouse pad and keyboard that installed without issue. Is there some other way to navigate that I am unaware of? Like choosing with the TAB button

Are there issues with this revision? Any updates to be done?
I would like to learn all I can about this little gem. ORiginally all I was going to do was to put together a $20 Kodi box. But it is clearly more than that and now I am on the ARmbian and programming ARduinos for crying out loud

Thanks for any and all help or suggestions :-)

Hello @canterburyflyer

Using the pre-built images for Xunlong boards can be super painful because of some of the things you mentioned.  This is why a group of people go together and created H3Droid which is a Android image specifically made to work well on Allwinner H3 devices, including the Orange Pi PC which you have mentioned.

We would invite you to try out H3Droid and see if this helps improve your Android experience on your board!

Also, if you get stuck or need some additional assistance when using H3Droid you are welcome to stop by our IRC channel #H3Droid on Freenode and chat with us and we will be happy to try and help!

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
