In order to get reliable WIFI on the Orange Pi Zero - I just tried the latest nightly build of Armbian.
Set up on WIRED, added WIFI, exit NMTUI - go back in to activate - nothing - the connection is still editable but not showing up to activate - hence no way to activate WIFI.
