video with hardware acceleration

hi there, I am trying to play /dev/video0 with mpv or vlc with hardware acceleration on Orange pi Lite. But it always fails with and hardware acceleration with Mali is not working:

Video filter chain:[in 640x480 yuv420p[nv12 bt,601/limited CL=unknown <---[out ???Falling back to software decoding.

How video can be played with hardware acceleration? Any idea please? (the best with Armbian OS. I would like to have similar behaviour like on Raspberry Pi when video is directly played to hdmi output on top layer, without buttons in vlc)
