[SOLVED]Best image to install when HDMI is not working?

Edited by justiceiro at 2020-3-9 08:19

So, guys, I retrieved a old orange pi pc of mine, but it seems the linux image corrupted, and I see oxide on the HDMI port.
So, I want to know what image I should burn to use the av right out of the gate or if there is any image that have the ash server enabled by default so I can access the av configurations via ssh.

Btw, how is the configuration of the av cable on the orange pi pc? I heard something about mixed up colors...

Ok, I figured out on my own. While dated, RetrOrangePi still works. I used the slim 4.2 version.
After burning the image in the card, I booted it up and connected onto my local network. However, I had no display, so I had no way to know if it was working directly, XD. So, I simply keep hitting the power down button until I got a red light blinking/and the network started blinking too.

Then, I tried to connect to it's ip via ssh (it's armbian, so the ssh server is already configured). However, I didn't know it's ip either, so I simply tried all the ip numbers inside my local subnet mask, so 192.168.0.1 and then 192.168.0.2, etc. I used the user "root", but I guess I could have used the user "pi" too.

Once I got connected, I used the command
find / -name BashTool*to locate the BashTool Ropi RCA directory, and once I got, I then proceeded to go there and execute the "run.sh" script.

There I could chose options from a menu and I chose option 5 I believe. After few confirmations, thesystem restarted and I used a custom made p2 4c cable since I got a mini projector that accept av from p2 connection to connect the pi board to the mini projector. The custom cable didn't inverted anything, was 1:1 in all both connection (both p2 male). I managed to get both video and audio.

There you have folks. If you had any doubt, let me know.
