Slackware ARM on the Orange Pi

If you would like to have the Orange Pi as an officially supported board with Slackware ARM, please vote for this poll.
The sample board will be used to test and develop the changes required.

Really like it.
Banana pi is officially supported, so why not the same for orange.
The packages exactly the same, here just a little difference between hardware support in kernel.

Mozes, any news about next slackware release?

I fully support this idea. I can't think of a more suitable operating system than Slackware to learn Linux on an ARM device.

Hello

I see that the Allwinner H3 support is not in the kernel.org tree yet (I have not found anything that says when it will be either, although I did see the patches submitted for the H3 a few months ago).
Also the H3 support is not in u-boot yet, so once both of these requirements are met I'll look at the Orange Pi.

As for the release of Slackware: Make your guess :-)

I have the latest slackware arm based on slack-current-miniroot_03Oct15.tar.xz working without problem on H3 boards.
I have to make some final adjustments and I'll upload the image soon.
