Circuits my Love! Designing a cheap PCB Milling Machine
Hello everyone,I am thinking of making an open source cnc pcb milling machine with a GUI software supported on Windows which will be installed on orange pi or can be directly controlled from LabView,
I am a student of electrical eletronics engineering and i know very well that its really difficult to make pcbs at home with the conventional ways of tone transfer and ironing and it takes too much time to fabricate and still no guarantee that it will work or not!
The machines that are availble in market are too expensive and no student or hobbyist want to buy that.
Refrence design : https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/home-made-cnc-milling-machine/
Benefits:
oNo use of chemicals
oNo heat required
oNo tone transfer
o Timesaving and precise
Kindly give a positive vote, as it will benefit all of us :handshake
Hi dear,
I am thinking about whether would there be any power-sparing to be made?? means if the it shut down coz of any power source problem etc. I figure with a non specific and customizable X-Y-Z organize there are a wide range of additional items you can envision adding to it.
Best of luck! :P amir.khan-amir replied at 2017-10-15 20:29

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. i will do my best and adding new feature in it :D:$
As a matter of fact the wear and tear on the direction, from a high number of on/off cycles (particularly on its most noteworthy rates), would presumably exceed any reserve funds in control.
That is a measure you may investigate in the event that you were running on battery control, yet again would the wear on the "shaft" be justified, despite all the trouble. I have needed a CNC machine in my workshop for some time. This is truly noteworthy. As far back as I discovered what they can do and how they are utilized as a part of machine shops. :loveliness:Be that as it may, the cost is an issue. I likewise question that I could assemble one like this. It is really a noteworthy setup! mohs.khawaja replied at 2017-10-16 21:52

Thank you very much for the support :loveliness:
it is really difficult task and it takes around 2-3 hours and even more to make a pcb with conventional methods :'(;P
