Automatically Water Outdoor Plant
I currently work for a large company as a database administrator (PostgreSQL) . My Son Likes to grow Carnivorous Plants like : Sarracenia,Nepenthes, Dionaea MuscipulaWe are currentlyworking on a project Currently we had successfully developed and deployed anarduino UNO with soil Moisture, relay to operate water pump and TemperatureSensor.We would like to control with a web browser the Arduinoboard . We would like to use domoticz with a my sensors wifi gateway
The technical requirements will bethe following :
Orange PI :

Arduino ESP8266

[*]relay to operate water pump
[*]Temperature Sensor
[*]Light Sensor
The main advantage of the Orange PI over the Raspberry PI isthe on-board WiFi module which eliminates the need for external hardware.
The power switche is also a nice feature for mobile device.The Li-Po Battery support and the EMMC flash are also an other big advantage.
I am a huge supporter of open source. I would be more thanhappy to share anything with Orange PI community.
