Will Fedora ARM/F23 run with H3 ?
I was trying to reproduce installation of original images fromhttp://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM/F23/Installation
toon OPI+ , which was not successful
What steps are necessary to bring the OPI+ with original ARM/F23?
As I understand it, the original Fedora images are built rather for the A20 ( armv7hl ), while OPI+ should be built against H3.
This is the boot partition files structure from original ARM/F23 image:
# mount ${card}${p}1 /mnt/sdc1
# ls -al /mnt/sdc1/
total 179920

Where could the initial boot loader binaries "boot0" and "u-boot" builds from the H3 SDK could be found?
I understand, that the one furnished with the original FC23 distribution located at
IMG_MOUNT$/usr/share/uboot/Orangepi/u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin
is built for A2X and doesn't fit the OPI+.
I was not able to boot my OPI+ with it.
Unfortunately, I don't have a serial terminal to troubleshoot the boot process. If you have made any progress with getting Fedora 23 to work, let me know.
I have Fedora 22 fully working, and I'm willing to buy another 64 GB micro SD card for development purposes.
I'd like to get Fedora 24 working when it comes out and I'd also like to try my luck with CentOS 7.
John No. I was not lucky with neither Fedora nor Centos. How did you manage installing F22? Could you share your experience?
